In a small town in the heart of Kent, the rafters of a local music venue were being blown off by Stone Kings, Dead Man’s Whiskey and Jukebox Monkey.
Friends, family and music fans alike, gathered to form the killer crowd that would support these three mighty bands. Jukebox Monkey kicked the night off with their energy and rocking set list that resulted in a request by a fellow fan to perform ‘Dead Wait’ for their last track! Their new album ‘Grey Skies Red Planet’ is available from 28th April 2017 so be sure to check that out!
Dead Man’s Whiskey owned the stage with performances of ‘War Machine’ and ‘Hoe Street’ and they also did a kickass cover of Black Stone Cherry’s ‘Me and Mary Jane’ which, coupled with Nico’s exceptional stage presence, (You’d think he had been doing this for 20+ years!) gave a really great performance that every member of the crowd went crazy for! Their new album is coming up on May 6th, be sure to attend the launch show as Cairo Son, Panic Island and Wicked Stone will also be joining them!
To round off an already fantastic night was Stone Kings bringing their grunge metal sound to fill the room and excite each member of the crowd. The moment ‘Captive Audience’ begun, everyone went wild and the whole crowd united in their love of live metal music. They also performed a new track ‘Darker Days’, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Having recently won their heat at ‘Metal 2 the Masses’, be sure to stay tuned for their progress as they edge closer and closer to a spot at Bloodstock Festival!
